Airborne Updates

Airborne has been getting a good bit of press lately. A couple cool articles that I've seen:

It's really cool to see airborne getting some positive press from reputable sources.  I really do hope that this new rendition of the Airborne name takes hold and really takes flight!  I think this brand has potential to fill a niche in the mountain bike market that has been a gaping hole for far too long.
Also, the other day I got a box full of 25 Airborne Bicycles water bottles!

    I love getting packages
I've been testing one out all day, and it's been working really well!  Sometimes it seems like water bottles are a dime a dozen, but these are actually pretty nice.  Not super heavy-duty, but very functional.  Loving the grips on the side, the fill-bar meter with graduated markings, and the fact that the nozzle actually works well and doesn't drip.

I scored several free water bottles from the SRAM booth which they were giving away as a promo for their new XX component set.  Those things stunk. Water everywhere.

    But I digress.

So what am I going to do with all of these water bottles?

    Stylin'!

Maybe give them away here on my blog?  Yep, that'd work!  The 3 people that leave the best comment during the week while I am away will get a free water bottle in the mail, and I'll pay for shipping! (Make sure you leave some sort of way/email for me to get ahold of you.)

Just to clarify, by "best" I mean most insightful, most informative, funniest, deepest question.... all of those can qualify, and I get to decide which two are best.

Any comment posted on any post on www.GregRidesTrails.com from now through Wednesday the 12th qualifies to win a free water bottle. So get busy!

Almost nothing better than getting free swag, well the best thing (if you are a mountain biker) is getting a free bike. You scored that one already.

No there isn't! But I'm going to do my best to pass out as much swag to everyone else as I can... especially if they keep sending me boxes of the stuff!

Hey Greg I can't agree with you more about the SRAM XX bottle sucking (more like spilling) hard. Keep up the great work on the blog.

Yeah dude, rather disappointing. But the Airborne bottles are nice, so we won't be embarrassed when we start handing them out to people.

And thanks for the kind words... I will do my best to keep it up!
