Shredding Bull Mountain VIDEO, and Contest Winners!

Check out this video below for several awesome shots of me shredding the gnar out on the IMBA Epic Bull Mountain Loop. It includes one or two of the same clips included in this video review here, but focuses on some of the best downhills on the standard Bull Mountain loop, and is set to some rocking music:

Side Note
I discovered that the music on some of the videos that I had recently put together with Windows Movie Maker did not continue all of the way through to the end of the movie. The previous videos had quality, rocking tunes through the first half of the movie, and boring silence through the last half. There was some sort of glitch in the system, and it took me a while to iron it out for this latest movie. Rest assured, it has been remedied! I am pretty embarrassed that those first videos did not turn out as I had hoped. From here on out, I will triple check to make sure that everything is in the place that I want it to be!

Contest Winners
Over the past week or so, I've been running a contest here on GregRidesTrails.com, giving away 3 free water bottles to the people with the "best" comments. And Here **drum roll please** are the winners:

1. Ed and Ellen:

Hi Greg-

I've been reading your post for a few weeks and really enjoying it! I live in Roxborough, CO between Littleton and Castle Rock, so lots of access to Front Range riding. I had a few general comments relative to your cross training series:

1) If you ride a lot and are just starting to run, don't push too hard too fast. I made that mistake this spring ... pushing to 4 and 6 mile distances within two weeks of starting to run. I'm paying the price with some very sore knees right now.

2) A good pilates routine 2 to 3 times a week provides big benefits to core strenth and overall flexibility. Just be sure to pay attention to good form to maximize the benefit.

3) Get a high density foam roller (~$25) and learn how to roll out your IT band. This has made a huge difference in my overall flexibility and capability on the bike.

Random thoughts, but hope they help!

Ed
2. Mark:
When are you going to get a monster crosser and really ride these roads? On a MTB this overkill but on a Monster it would be a blast, especially if you were fixed!
 3. Daniel:
My training regiment really just needs some consistancy. Traveling so much really throws everything out of whack, thats all about to change as Ive just found employment again, dammit. Back to a schedule and training I guess.

Ed and Ellen, you didn't leave me a way of contacting you. Shoot me an email at g.gaheil AT gmail DOT com (no spam).   I will hook you up with a free Airborne Bicycles water bottle!

So thanks to everyone that participated in the contest by taking the time to write a comment.  You're all awesome!  Thanks for reading GregRidesTrails.com!  Oh, and if you ever want to drop me an email at the above address, feel free to do so!

Will my music issues never end? Currently says it got blocked due to copyright infringement, yet I haven't done anything that millions of other people don't do every day.

I'm working on finding a solution....
